* On-campus housing priority is based on the date we receive a student's application for admission in the Office of Admissions. While all students who choose to live on campus are able to do so, students who apply early are the most likely to secure a room in one of their preferred residential areas. The earliest priority date for on-campus housing is December 1st.
Application Fee
A non-refundable $50 application fee is required with your application. When you apply online, you will be asked to submit a credit card, debit card, or electronic check to complete the application. If you use a paper application, your application fee must be in the form of a check or money order, payable to "Western Washington University". Please include your social security number or birth date on your check.
If you have extreme financial need, or you have been approved for a fee waiver through SAT, ACT, etc., you may request a WWU application fee waiver. If you apply online you will have the option to request an application fee waiver at the time you submit your application. If you apply on paper be sure to include a detailed written request for an application fee waiver or include a copy of your approved fee waiver form. Please note: Fee waivers are rarely granted when 1) an applicant has already received a fee waiver, 2) an applicant is not a resident of Washington State, or 3) an application is received after the application deadline.
